Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer (Construction) in Uckfield. The role offers £35,000-£40,000 + progression, training, bonus and benefits, with a Mon-Fri, office-based schedule. Full training will be provided to upskill in joinery and related design work.

You will join a family-run company known for bespoke oak framed buildings, liaising with customers on costings, responding to technical queries, assisting with designs, and pursuing new business leads.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales engineering or similar within construction.
• Ability to respond to technical queries from clients.
• Experience preparing costings and quotes for projects.

Are you an Internal Sales Engineer or similar from a construction background, looking to join a thriving and vibrant family run company, offering tailored in-house training in the joinery industry to upskill your career and further progression opportunities to senior or design positions?

In this role you will be joining a tight knit team and be responsible for the internal sales of this long-standing company. You will liaise with customers on costings and quotes, respond to technical queries and help clients with designs and chase leads for further business development. Full industry training will be provided.

This company are well established within their industry and pride themselves on their high quality of work. They have been producing bespoke oak framed buildings for a range of blue-chip clients for decades and are looking to expand their design team to take on more work.
