Job summary

CBC Recruitment Solutions is recruiting for two internal relationship managers to join the client’s financial services arm. The role is 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, focusing on hire purchase and lease for equipment in a B2B context.

Ideal candidates will have sales or financial services experience, strong communication and numerical skills, and the ability to work to SLAs in a team environment. Graduates with a business-related degree are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote the sale of equipment through hire purchase and lease (B2B).
• Follow a compliant sales process to advise clients on finance options.
• Negotiate finance rates and coordinate each stage of client transactions.
• Maintain high levels of telephone contact with clients, the field-based team and dealers.
• Aim to achieve profit, margin objectives and other KPIs.
• Build relationships with clients via calls and emails; respond to inquiries.
• Nurture existing relationships with clients and dealer personnel; develop new clients.
• Build, manage and maintain sales pipeline.
• Support the team and achieve individual objectives; manage own workload.

Job description

Our client is the financial services arm of a blue chip, global equipment manufacturer. They are growing their internal sales team, and looking to appoint 2 internal relationship managers. The role is based 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

Key responsibilities include

• Supporting and promoting the sale of equipment through hire purchase and lease (B2B)
• Following a compliant sales process to support your clients in choosing the right finance option for their business, and following client care good practice.
• Negotiating finance rates and co-ordinating each stage of the client transaction.
• A high level of telephone interaction with clients, the field-based sales team, and dealer sales personnel
• Achieving profit and margin objectives (plus other KPIs)
• Building relationships with clients through regular calls and emails and responding to inbound enquiries
• Nurturing existing relationships with clients and dealer sales personnel
• Developing relationships with new clients
• Build, manage and maintain sales pipeline
• Supporting the team as well as achieving individual objectives
• Co-ordinating and taking responsibility for own workload

The successful candidate will ideally have some past experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services sector, although this is not essential. You will have strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships over the phone, strong numerical skills and be able to work in a team environment to SLAs.
