We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Assistant Practitioner to join our dynamic Stroke Rehabilitation team at Haywood Hospital for a 12-month secondment, covering maternity leave. Working within our bed-based stroke rehabilitation service, supporting adults following stroke to regain independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, with a focus on quality care, patient-centred practice, and professional growth, The Assistant Practitioner provides rehabilitation assessment and treatment for patients following stroke, supporting recovery, discharge planning and independence. The role involves managing a delegated caseload, implementing therapy programmes, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining clinical records, and contributing to service improvement and seven-day service delivery.
