Job summary

Keane Premier Group is seeking a Cook/kitchen Assistant for a care home in the United Kingdom. You will plan and prepare nutritious meals with dietary considerations, contributing to residents’ wellbeing.

You will manage the kitchen, create varied menus, train staff, and ensure cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations.PVG and two references are required to start.

• Collaborate with team members to address resident feedback and requests.
• Monitor portion control and waste.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
• Adhere to Food Safety, Hygiene, Health and Safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and perform routine maintenance.

Job description

Due to restrictions on the number of certificates we can issue at present, candidates without an existing visa or right to work in the UK are unlikely to be suitable for the advertised post.

Everything we do is about giving our residents a place to call home and we’re looking for a Cook/kitchen Assistant with a passion for cooking, edication to quality and a commitment to their team members.

As the Cook/kitchen assistant, you will be responsible for planning and preparing nutritious, delicious meals for our residents, taking into consideration dietary requirements and preferences. Your culinary expertise will contribute to the overall wellbeing and satisfaction of our residents. .. tweak this as there isnt a team, this is in a care home setting
