Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Internal Controls Manager in London to oversee specialist controls work within the Construction and Major Infrastructure sector, supporting the Accounting & Finance department in maintaining clear and reliable control processes.

You will lead the development of the internal controls framework, drive governance and risk reporting, and challenge senior stakeholders to strengthen the control environment across a highly regulated industry.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and testing control frameworks and remediating control weaknesses.
• Experience with governance, enterprise risk management and integrated assurance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Background in highly regulated sectors such as energy, utilities, infrastructure or construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the organisation's internal controls framework and mitigate key risks.
• Oversee control testing and assurance activities across the business.
• Drive governance and risk reporting to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
• Manage fraud risk and remediation actions to strengthen controls.
• Support enterprise risk management and GRC activities across the organisation.
