Job summary

BMW Group UK, Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, is offering an Internal Communications placement year starting July 2027. You will join the Internal Communications team and support wider Corporate Communications, gaining hands-on experience in a luxury automotive brand.

The role focuses on drafting materials, project management, events support, budgeting, and video production. You will be mentored from day one and have opportunities to contribute ideas while balancing university commitments.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Studies, or a related discipline.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills, across a wide range of media.
• Excellent administration/project management/organisational/IT skills.
• Target driven with proven ability to deliver on time, to budget when under pressure.
• Fluency in all current and developing social media platforms.
• Passion for automotive and luxury brands.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Internal Communications and also the broader Corporate Communications team.
• Drafting communications materials and delivering a variety of messages through different channels.
• Project management / tracking of project status.
• Presentation production, generation of collateral (documents, spreadsheets etc.) and general administration where specific to projects.
• Assisting with video production.
• Supporting in events.
• Budgeting & analysis.
