Job summary

City of Glasgow College is seeking an experienced Internal Communications & Media Officer (maternity cover) to drive internal and external content across College channels. You will lead in creating and driving positive content and work closely with the Director of Communications and Head of Communications and Marketing in reactive communications.

As well as working proactively across internal communications and media activities, you will also have an important role in social media and digital,

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in internal communications and media activities.
• Ability to seek and deliver promotional opportunities for the College.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal and external communications across College channels.
• Work with Director of Communications and Head of Communications and Marketing on reactive communications.
• Contribute to social media, digital, brand, events, marketing and alumni activities.
