Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Communications Manager (Maternity Cover) in Manchester to lead internal communications and employee engagement for a high-profile client account. You will craft campaigns, create content, and support key events, driving engagement through storytelling and strategic communications.

The role offers flexible scheduling (3-5 days a week, standard hours) and the chance to contribute to a wider team focused on purpose and impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in internal/corporate/consumer/client communications or marketing.
• Experience in a complex multinational environment is preferred.
• Strong editorial skills and ability to tell compelling stories.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver multi-media internal communications using defined channels.
• Drive employee engagement with local relatable content across channels.
• Maintain account channels including Teams and SharePoint.
• Act as communications consultant to countries/sites needing material and frameworks.
• Train colleagues on communication tools and approaches.
• Partner with client communications to implement joint strategic plans.
• Plan and deliver awareness/adoption campaigns for strategic projects.
• Deliver internal/external awards submissions and social media content.
• Be the point of contact for crisis communication and stakeholders.
• Contribute to business growth initiatives as requested by GSA and BD teams.
• Identify stakeholders and manage their communication needs.
