Job summary

DCC Energy GB is seeking an Internal Communications Executive to inform and connect colleagues across multiple sites. You’ll craft engaging content, manage channels and support campaigns to bring our purpose, values and culture to life.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll help plan Town Halls and events, create leadership briefings and ensure communications remain relevant and practical for a large, multi-site workforce.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Internal Communications or a similar role.
• Experience communicating with frontline, field-based or non-desk colleagues.
• Experience managing internal channels, intranets or employee engagement platforms.
• Strong writing and editing skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and content creation tools like Canva.
• Experience creating digital content including graphics and video.
• Experience supporting internal campaigns, events or engagement initiatives.

How you'll power our business

As an Internal Communications Executive, you'll play a key role in helping our colleagues feel informed, connected and part of what's happening across DCC Energy GB.

Working closely with the Internal Communications Specialist and Head of Culture & Communications, you'll help bring our stories to life by creating engaging content, supporting campaigns and events, managing internal communication channels and finding new ways to connect with colleagues across our businesses and locations.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll have the opportunity to bring your own ideas, creativity and energy while helping to shape the colleague experience across DCC Energy GB. Most importantly, you'll help ensure our communications are relevant, engaging and genuinely useful to the people who work here.

What we'll need from you

• Previous experience in an Internal Communications, Communications or similar role.
• Experience communicating with frontline, operational, field-based or non-desk-based colleagues using a variety of channels and approaches.
• Experience managing internal communication channels, intranets or employee engagement platforms.
• Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident use of Microsoft 365 and content creation tools such as Canva.
• Experience creating and editing digital content, including graphics and video.
• Experience supporting internal communication campaigns, events or colleague engagement initiatives.
• Experience working within a large, multi-site organisation.
