Natixis in London is offering a Corporate Coverage internship to support two senior bankers in developing relationships with UK corporate clients. The role involves assisting with business development, live deal origination and execution, and collaboration with multiple business lines to gain a 360-degree view of investment banking activity.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the team with business development to deepen our knowledge of clients, their investments and their needs, eg conducting research and filtering of our clients‘ portfolios and activities, creation of databases to track these
• Assisting with marketing pitch preparation and research.
• Assisting with financial modelling and credit analysis for financing transactions.
• Gathering and analysing financial data, reporting variances and initiating corrective actions.
• Prepare client coverage memos and client action plans

Job description

Support two senior bankers in Corporate Coverage in London with business development and client activity to establish and grow Natixis’ relationship with our UK Corporate clients.

The intern will play an important role in supporting business development, deal origination and execution and coverage of corporate clients in London. She / He will collaborate with the two senior bankers based in London. The candidate will work closely with Business Lines including Acquisition and Structured Finance, Structured Equity Capital Markets, Real Assets, Global Markets, Industry Groups as well as M&A boutiques.

This role will give the candidate the opportunity to get a 360 degrees view of investment banking activity with our biggest client group globally, as well as participate in live transactions and meet our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the team with business development to deepen our knowledge of clients, their investments and their needs, eg conducting research and filtering of our clients‘ portfolios and activities, creation of databases to track these
