The role

They are currently seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding team. Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and delivering mechanical services for various projects.
• Undertake calculations, layouts, and detailed designs under senior engineers' guidance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions.
• Participate in client and design meetings as required.
• Take responsibility for assigned tasks and deadlines.
• Support junior staff and foster a positive team culture.

What they are looking for

• Ideally, a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (not essential).
• 2-4 years' experience within a UK building services consultancy.
• Previous exposure to MEP design projects.
• Familiarity with mechanical design software (e.g., Hevacomp).
• Any exposure to IES or Revit is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mentality.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of development.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach and collaborative attitude.
