Our client is looking to appoint an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their growing Building Services' consultancy team. The successful candidate will work on a varied portfolio of projects, including high-end residential developments, commercial schemes, mixed-use projects, and health and leisure facilities. You will be responsible for the production of electrical building services designs, including calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and schedules. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support projects from concept through to completion, carrying out electrical load calculations, containment sizing, equipment sizing, circuit protection analysis, lighting and power design, fire alarm systems, and low-carbon technology assessments. The role will involve regular collaboration with architects, contractors, utility providers, and external consultants to coordinate designs and resolve technical issues. You will also attend project meetings and site visits to ensure designs are delivered in accordance with the project brief, Building Regulations, British Standards, and CIBSE guidance.
