About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a progressive and ambitious Intermediate Electrical Engineer (or above) to support our work within the Operational Assets team in the Southwest.
Bristol is a vibrant and dynamic city with a rich cultural heritage. It also has ambitious plans for growth and aims to become a carbon-neutral city in the next 10 years. We have a long-standing history in the city, having worked on many of it’s landmark sites. As our second-largest office, Bristol is home to more than 100 MEP engineers, and a growing range of specialist disciplines.
The Operational Assets team is close-knit with a range of technical experience. We apply our knowledge and experience to address challenges in existing buildings and have the ability to transform Client visions into reality, from refurbishment projects, central plant replacement and carbon reduction through efficiency and operational savings. Working alongside a range of specialist engineers and consultants, you will join a collaborative, knowledgeable, highly engaged team who love what they do and offer a supportive, flexible, and high performing work culture.
As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer (or above), you will be responsible for supporting and delivering designs and managing a range of project types and sizes. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and support staff delivering a consistently high-quality service for clients, ensuring that repeat and new business opportunities are developed, and profitability is achieved.
About you
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
The role will require travel to site on a regular basis to support building strong relationships and undertake site surveys of existing installations. Therefore, a driving licence is essential to the role.
An ability to meet a minimum security clearance level of BPSS is required for the role. Applications from existing security cleared applicants is welcomed.
