Job summary

The Isle of Man Government is looking for compassionate individuals to join the Intermediate Care Service as Support Workers. You will help service users regain independence in their own homes, working with families and healthcare professionals to achieve personal goals and improve quality of life.

About the role

Join our Intermediate Care Service and support service users across the Isle of Man as they recover from illness, surgery or accidents in their own homes. You'll work alongside families and healthcare professionals, encouraging people to achieve their goals, build confidence and enjoy the best possible quality of life. No previous experience is required, as we'll provide full training, support and development to help you build a rewarding career in care.

  • A competitive salary that increases each 12 months until you reach the salary maximum (not available for casual role).
  • A competitive salary (for casual role only).
  • Annual leave starting from 21 days, a Privilege Day and 10 Bank Holidays; your annual leave will increase after your first year and again after the third year (not available for casual role).
