Interiors and Workspace Design Project Coordinator

Role Specification

Role Objective:
We are seeking a highly motivated and assertive individual to join our team as an Interiors and Workspace Design Project Coordinator. This internal role provides critical support to our busy team of Specialists.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of our product ranges, exceptional organisational skills, and a confident ability to take initiative. They will produce professional quotes and customer presentations, liaise with supply chain, planners, and fitters, and manage projects from inception to completion. Additionally, the role involves arranging pre-delivery documentation such as RAMS, risk assessments, and other site-specific requirements, as well as sourcing environmental accreditations and other professional documentation.

While occasional travel to other branches may be required, the role does not involve attending customer meetings, which remain the responsibility of our Specialists however supplier visits will be expected. The successful candidate must also be willing to undertake relevant qualifications to meet the requirements of the role.

Summary of Role Responsibilities:
  • Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of our product ranges.
  • Learn and utilise in-house systems efficiently to manage project coordination.
  • Provide comprehensive support and guidance to the Specialists.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality design projects.
  • Use CAD and other British design platforms confidently and competently.
  • Work effectively with Excel to produce professional quotes and customer presentations.
  • Liaise with the supply chain to facilitate project requirements.
  • Communicate and coordinate with planners and fitters to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Arrange project documentation, including RAMS, risk assessments, and other pre-delivery requirements.
  • Source and ensure adherence to environmental accreditations.
  • Guide and advise the general admin team to enhance productivity and efficiency when necessary.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of a project, from inception to completion.
  • Undertake relevant qualifications if necessary to meet the demands of the role.
  • Perform administrative tasks to a high standard, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Travel to other company branches when necessary to coordinate projects.
  • Work independently, demonstrating motivation, initiative, and assertiveness in all tasks.
  • Any other duties as and when required by management .

  • Proven experience in interiors and workspace design or project coordination.
  • Proficient in CAD, Excel, and other British design software platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent administrative abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Self-driven, with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional customer focus and service skills.
  • Experience producing professional quotes and customer presentations.
  • Knowledge of arranging project documentation, such as RAMS and risk assessments.
  • Understanding of environmental accreditations and where to source them.
  • Willingness to undertake relevant qualifications if required.
  • Flexibility to travel between company branches when needed.
