Job summary
Urban Planters in Brentwood is hiring an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance of tropical plants across a range of clients. You will work in a busy team, maintaining live and artificial displays, supporting installations and seasonal projects, while ensuring safety and documentation are kept up to date.
The role offers a stable, full-time position with a strong focus on progression within a leading interior planting company.
Qualifications
- Full UK drivers licence is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Plant knowledge would be advantageous.
- Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous; full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays.
- Replacing dead, dying or overgrown plant displays.
- Maintain artificial plant displays.
- Assist with plant display installations.
- Assist with seasonal installations.
- Ensure all maintenance dockets and documentation are completed.
- Comply with health and safety requirements.
- Build good supplier and customer relationships.
- Be mindful of possible sales opportunities.
