Job summary

Hill McGlynn Recruitment is seeking a Design Coordinator for an East Malling-based interior design consultancy. You will coordinate technical information, liaise with clients and consultants, and ensure design documentation is accurate and delivered to programme.

The role requires AutoCAD proficiency, strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of UK Building Regulations. You will own project deliverables from inception to completion and help the team solve design challenges with

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Design Coordinator or similar technical coordination role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent coordination skills and the ability to own tasks from inception through to completion.
• Strong communication skills, liaising with internal teams, clients, contractors and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical information and ensure design documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Liaise with internal departments, clients and external consultants to meet programme milestones.
• Take ownership of workload and coordinate project deliverables to fulfil client expectations.
• Support the design team through the project lifecycle with attention to detail.
