Job summary

SOM London is seeking an Architect/Interior Designer to contribute to interdisciplinary design across multiple project types. You will develop concepts, document construction packages, and collaborate with engineers and consultants to deliver high-quality design outcomes.

The role requires a professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design, a minimum of 2 years' experience, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and other design tools. Portfolio is mandatory for application.

Qualifications

• Completion of a professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field; LEED accreditation preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Effectively communicates with the project team and consultants through timely and appropriate written, oral, and visual means.

Responsibilities

• Creates and innovates with strong conceptual design ability and integrates interdisciplinary criteria.
• Demonstrates understanding of interiors and architectural materials, building systems, codes, and cost trends.
• Enriches design concepts through technical strategies and uses tools to research, design and document at all project phases.
• Manages time and workload to meet project deadlines with direction from project leaders.
