Job summary

Goodman Masson are partnering with a housing association to recruit an Interim Workplace Project Manager in Eastleigh, Hampshire. The role involves leading workplace, facilities management and real estate projects on an initial 4-month contract, with 3 days per week in the office.

You will coordinate internal teams, contractors and stakeholders, ensuring projects finish on time, to budget and to required standards of safety and compliance. Housing sector experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing projects across workplace, facilities management, property or corporate real estate.
• Housing association or social housing environment experience is highly desirable.
• Strong planning, budget management, risk assessment and reporting skills.
• Experience coordinating with contractors and external stakeholders.
• Good understanding of health and safety, regulatory compliance and governance.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver workplace, facilities management and real estate projects from inception to completion.
• Monitor budgets, timescales, risks, issues and benefits with governance and reporting.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical projects, minimising operational disruption and ensuring safety compliance.
• Support property searches, leases, disposals and ongoing portfolio management.
• Manage contracts and relationships with contractors to ensure value for money.
• Engage with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver successful projects.
• Provide clear progress reports on expenditure, property arrangements and risks.
• Help align offices and workplaces with evolving working practices and objectives.
• Handle tenant queries and service charge budgeting processes as needed.
