We're supporting a leading global pharmaceutical and life sciences organisation embarking on a major enterprise-wide transformation, with ambitious targets to unlock significant operational efficiencies and long-term business value.

With the transformation strategy established, consultancy partners having laid the foundations and the programme now moving into execution, the focus has shifted firmly to delivery, accountability and results.

This is where you come in.

We're seeking an accomplished Transformation Programme Manager to take a pivotal leadership role in driving a complex portfolio of global technology and organisational transformation initiatives.

This isn't a role for someone who simply tracks milestones, produces status reports or coordinates delivery teams.

We need a hands-on transformation leader who can own the programme plan, challenge senior stakeholders, remove delivery barriers and turn strategic ambition into measurable outcomes.

The Opportunity

Operating at the intersection of technology, business strategy and organisational change, you'll work closely with senior executives and global delivery leads to drive execution across multiple interconnected transformation workstreams.

Your remit will include:

Driving global transformation delivery - Taking ownership of integrated programme plans, milestones, dependencies and execution across a complex, multi-workstream environment.

Holding senior leaders accountable - Challenging delivery leads, resolving bottlenecks and maintaining momentum against demanding transformation objectives.

Influencing at executive level - Working directly with senior business and technology leaders, presenting programme updates, recommendations and critical decisions to executive steering committees.

Turning complexity into action - Identifying cross-functional risks and dependencies, developing practical solutions and proactively addressing delivery challenges.

Delivering tangible business value - Ensuring strategic technology and organisational change initiatives translate into measurable efficiencies, adoption and sustainable transformation outcomes.

Leading across organisational boundaries - Building trusted relationships across Technology, HR, Finance, Communications and other global business functions.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced transformation leader who combines strategic credibility with genuine delivery capability.

You’ll bring:

A proven track record leading large-scale, global technology and organisational transformation programmes.

Recent, hands‑on experience delivering complex programmes across multiple workstreams, rather than primarily overseeing PMO reporting and governance.

The confidence and credibility to influence, challenge and hold senior executives and delivery leads accountable.

Strong programme planning, risk management, dependency management and problem‑solving capabilities.

The commercial judgement to identify delivery challenges, present credible solutions and drive decisions.

Experience navigating complex, matrixed global organisations and delivering change across multiple business functions.

Management consultancy experience would be particularly attractive, especially if combined with hands‑on transformation delivery experience.

Experience within the pharmaceutical sector is not essential. We're equally interested in accomplished transformation leaders from other industries who have successfully delivered complex, enterprise‑scale change.
