Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Adult Social Care Commissioning.
• In-depth knowledge of Older People’s Services, Care Home Markets, Extra Care Housing, Working Age Adult Services.
• Experience in developing Service Specifications, Business Cases and Market Development Plans.
• Strong contract and performance management skills.
• Experience in needs assessments, service reviews, market analysis and options appraisals.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Commissioning: lead commissioning strategies/plans and oversee end-to-end commissioning cycle.
• Contract & Performance Management: monitor provider performance, ensure contractual compliance and negotiate contracts.
• Partnership Working: collaborate with Adult Social Care Teams, NHS Partners, Integrated Care Boards and providers.
