Job summary

Das Group seeks an experienced Interim Software Development Manager to lead our Software Development function on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will drive delivery, support and continuous improvement of secure, resilient software critical to business services.

You will oversee multiple tech stacks including RPG, Visualfiles, .NET and Java, providing technical leadership, people management and collaboration with Architecture, Security, Solution Delivery and Governance teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Software Development Manager or Head of Development role.
• Experience leading multiple teams across various technology stacks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Software Development Team Leaders across multiple stacks.
• Drive Agile delivery, DevOps governance and CI/CD maturity.
• Oversee end-to-end software delivery and application support.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Solution Delivery and Governance teams.
• Identify opportunities to modernise legacy platforms and improve engineering capability.
