CMA Recruitment Group is supporting a market-leading organisation in appointing an Interim Senior Financial Controller to provide cover during a key period of transition within the finance function. This senior interim opportunity offers immediate impact, significant stakeholder exposure and ownership of complex financial reporting, year-end and audit activities.

Hybrid working is available (three days in the office); day rate or fixed-term contract available depending on experience; interviews

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with a strong technical accounting background.
• Experience of Group consolidations within a large or complex business.
• Confident communicator capable of influencing stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-visibility role.

This is a senior interim opportunity offering immediate impact, significant stakeholder exposure and ownership of complex financial reporting, year-end and audit activities.

Role responsibilities

• Leading the Group consolidation and financial reporting process, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of reported financial information across multiple entities
• Acting as a key technical accounting contact, providing guidance on complex accounting matters and responding to senior stakeholder and auditor queries
• Supporting a demanding year-end timetable and audit process, working closely with both internal stakeholders and external auditors

Candidate profile

• Fully qualified accountant with a strong technical accounting background
• Demonstrable experience of Group consolidations within a large or complex business environment
• Confident communicator, capable of influencing stakeholders and operating effectively within a fast-paced and highly visible role

Opportunity available on either a day-rate or fixed-term contract basis

Hybrid working arrangement - 3 days in the office

Day rate achieved will be dependent on experience
