Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Revenues Manager for an interim role in Cambridge. You will lead the Revenues Services team, oversee the billing, collection and enforcement of Council Tax, Business Rates, sundry debts and Housing Benefit overpayments, and deputise as required.

You will manage day-to-day administration, lead annual billing, and ensure compliance with current legislation. The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and experience with revenues systems,

Qualifications

• Experience managing Council Tax and Business Rates administration.
• Experience leading annual billing and year-end processes.
• Knowledge of current legislation in revenues and local taxation.
• Experience managing a revenues budget and service contracts.
• Staff recruitment, development, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Revenues Service team and provide supervision and appraisal.
• Oversee billing, collection and recovery of Council Tax, Business Rates and sundry debts.
• Lead annual billing and year-end processes and reports.
• Manage software, contracts, and IT systems for revenues and benefits.
• Prepare statistics, reports and statutory returns and monitor targets.
• Represent the organisation in formal settings and in court when required.
