Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking an Interim Property Manager to look after a portfolio of prime Central Birmingham residential blocks. The role requires being based in the Jewellery Quarter, five days a week, with a six-week contract and a £25-£30 per hour rate.

The ideal candidate will have leasehold or facilities management experience, be comfortable on the phone with clients, and capable of juggling multiple workloads while delivering high-quality management and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasehold or facilities management within a property setting.
• Service charge experience desirable.
• Experience coordinating contractors and managing contractors.
• Ability to handle multiple workloads and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio management to ensure properties are well managed and aligned with client expectations.
• Ensure properties comply with relevant legislation and industry standards.
• Manage finances through budgeting, reporting and financial controls.
• Coordinate major works and oversee repairs or improvements.
• Provide timely client reporting and communications to stakeholders.

Job description

We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced Interim Property Manager to look after a portfolio of high quality prime CentralBirmingham residential blocks of flats, mainly owned by resident/lessee companies. Working as part of the Property Management team, you will assist in the delivery of high-quality management services to properties within the portfolio, ensuring professional management and excellent customer service is delivered to both clients and customers.

You will be basedin the office 5 days a week in the Jewellery Quarter, with plenty of transport options including street parking, multi-story and train access.

An ideal background would be within property management, senior administrative or planning, comfortable on the phones with clients and managingmultiple workloads at once, then I want to hear from you.

Interim Property Manager

5 days in the office

£25-£30 per hour

6 week contract (potential to go permanent)

Interim Property Manager duties:

• Portfolio management - ensure your properties are well managed in line with customer & client expectations and standards set bythe client
• Compliance - ensure all properties fully adhere to relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards
• Property finances - through effective budgeting, reporting and financial controls, ensure the effective financial management and sustainability of your portfolio
• Major works - coordinate and oversee significant repairs, renovations and improvement projects in line with industry regulations
• Client reporting - provide effective and timely reports and communication to relevant stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment to objectives and KPIs

To succeed as the Interim Property Manager, you need:

• Leasehold, facilities management or asset management experience within a property setting
• Service charge experience (desirable)
• QUBEexperience (desirable)
• Complaint handling experience
• Experience of being able to deal with contractors and also look after a property assistant
• ATPI or MTPI qualification (desirable)
