Goodman Masson is currently recruiting an experienced Interim Project Accountant to join the finance function on a remediation and stabilisation assignment in the Thames Valley with hybrid working 2/3 days in office.
The role focuses on financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, cashbook and intercompany activities within a multi-entity environment. You will bring structure to processes, ensure audit-ready documentation and support ad hoc projects as priorities shift.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Project Accountant to join a growing finance function on a key remediation and stabilisation assignment.
This is a hands-on role suited to an accountant who is comfortable stepping into a fast-paced environment, identifying issues, bringing structure to existing processes and leaving behind a more robust and sustainable way of working.
You will work across a broad range of accounting activities, with particular focus on financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, cashbook and bank reconciliations, intercompany and wider finance projects.
We are looking for an experienced accountant who can hit the ground running and operate effectively with limited supervision.
You will ideally have:
Experience within a project or contract-based business, including exposure to IFRS 15 / percentage-of-completion accounting, would be advantageous. ERP experience, particularly NetSuite, would also be beneficial.
This is not a traditional role-cover assignment. You will be brought in to make a tangible impact, improve the quality and control of the finance function and establish processes that can be maintained by the permanent team.
The role would suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems and bringing structure to a complex environment.
