Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking an Interim Project Manager for the Nuclear Records Management programme, based at Hensingham Business Park with travel to Wick and Hinton House. This 18-month fixed-term maternity cover role requires strong governance, PRINCE2 discipline, and budget/risk control across multiple sites.

You will lead a dedicated PMO team, engage stakeholders, and ensure high-regulatory-compliance delivery while driving continuous improvement within a complex, critical environment.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of PRINCE2 methodologies and risk management.
• Experience in line management and coaching project support staff.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner certification (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end project governance across multiple sites in line with PRINCE2 and PMO standards.
• Provide direct line management and coaching for direct reports.
• Monitor budgets, forecast and apply risk/assurance frameworks with the commercial lead.
• Collaborate with operations managers and analysts to drive contract KPIs.
• Serve as PMO contact for client stakeholders and end users, ensuring transparent reporting.
