Job summary

Portfolio Credit Control is seeking an Interim Payroll Manager based in Derby to lead end-to-end payroll processing for a large/complex organisation. The role requires managing payroll, pensions, and employee benefits with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate will interpret and apply payroll legislation (HMRC, Pensions Regulator) and work with internal and external auditors to implement recommendations. Experience with HRIS systems and stakeholder management is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in end-to-end payroll processing in a large/complex organisation.
• Ability to lead payroll, pensions and employee benefits functions with accurate payments.
• Interpretation and application of pay, pensions and benefits legislation including HMRC.
• Experience leading staff, recruitment, performance and development.

• Lead and oversee payroll, pensions and employee benefits functions.
• Ensure timely payments to employees and sold-service customers.
• Maintain HR data integrity and liaise with auditors on payroll processes.
