Michael Page Finance is seeking an Interim Payroll Manager for a Not For Profit organisation based in Leicester. The role covers the day-to-day management of payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely employee payments during a temporary assignment.

The candidate will review payroll data, address queries, coordinate deadlines, and collaborate with Accounting & Finance teams to keep payroll records aligned. The position is office-based in Leicester for 1–2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience managing end-to-end payroll activity.
• ITrent experience would be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and accurate data handling.
• The ability to review payroll information and resolve issues efficiently.
• Experience working with payroll deadlines and changing priorities.
• Confidence working with Accounting & Finance teams and payroll records.
• A clear and organised approach to managing payroll tasks.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of payroll activities to support accurate and timely employee payments.
• Review payroll data and resolve queries to maintain clear and reliable records.
• Coordinate payroll deadlines and priorities throughout the temporary assignment.
• Work closely with Accounting & Finance colleagues to keep payroll information aligned.
• Maintain organised payroll documentation to support efficient processing.
• Identify and address payroll issues promptly to minimise disruption for employees.
• Provide clear updates on payroll progress, deadlines and outstanding actions.
