Willow Resourcing Limited is seeking a part-time interim CASS Compliance specialist in London. The role covers day-to-day CASS 7 compliance, governance, and leading committee meetings, with flexible hybrid working arrangements and potential office visits.

You will review CASS packs, update policies, and manage CMAR processes, ensuring accuracy of breaches and variances. Experience with FCA engagement is advantageous for this interim role.

Responsabilités

• Handle day-to-day CASS 7 compliance and governance, update and review committee packs, and lead committee meetings.
• Review and update the CASS resolution pack, policies, and procedures as rules change; maintain breach/incident logs.
• Validate, review and submit the monthly CMAR; resolve bank-to-ledger variances before submission; be the main contact for external auditors on the annual CASS audit.

This is a rare part-time interim opportunity with plenty of flexibility.

It's 2 days a week although if you prefer you could work 4 half days. It's up to you.

And the firm is also happy to be fairly flexible with the working model, from full-time in the office to predominantly remote with occasional office visits, and anything in between.

The CASS recruitment market is quite slow and is unfortunately only likely to get slower through the Christmas and New Year period. This is a great chance to step out of that market until next summer and gain some useful experience along the way.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for day-to-day CASS 7 compliance and governance, updating and reviewing CASS committee packs, and leading committee meetings.

You'll review and update the CASS resolution pack, policies, and procedures whenever rules, products, or processes change and also maintain the CASS breach/incident logs, reviewing raised breaches to ensure accuracy of assessment and rule assignment.

In addition, you'll validate, review, and submit the monthly CMAR, resolving bank-to-ledger variances before submission. You'll act as the main point of contact for the external auditors on the annual CASS audit and provide evidence responses to audit queries.

What we're looking for

You'll have strong experience in a CASS role in an FCA-regulated firm holding client money and possess a detailed working knowledge of CASS 7 client money rules.

In addition, you'll have a good understanding of CASS 7A and CASS 10 and how they shape day-to-day controls.

Ideally, you'll be familiar with client money reconciliation processes and break resolution, and any experience of FCA engagement would be advantageous.
