Job summary

Camino Search is seeking an Interim Operations Director for a Business Services unit in Greater London. The role requires hands-on leadership to sustain stability during a strategic transition, including a merger and technology upgrade.

Interim Operations Director | Business Services

Our client is looking for a strong Interim Operations Director to join their financial services asset as the business navigates a period of transition, including an integration/merger with a technology/platform upgrade. The business needs an experienced individual to start mid-August, take a full handover, and keep the business steady through it all.

This isn't a caretaker role. The business needs an individual who'll actively find efficiency and commercial upsides, being a true value add to their business

• Hold SLA performance and operational stability through the transition/integration
• Take full responsibility for the group operations, reporting directly to the CEO/board
• Support the integration and platform upgrade from an operations lens, leaning on previous experiences
• Drive efficiency across commercial and technology functions, including AI-enabled customer support
• Established Operations leader who is used to landing fast in complex, fast-moving businesses
• Strong commercial and customer-facing background
• M&A integration experience, hands-on or from operating inside a merged business
• Financial services experience highly desirable
