Meraki Talent is supporting an Interim Operational Accountant role based in Edinburgh with hybrid working and a highly competitive salary/daily rate.

The candidate will manage ledger integrity, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset registers, intercompany and transfer pricing, revenue recognition, and month-end close processes. Suitable for qualified accountants or those qualified by experience seeking a challenging interim assignment.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified or qualified by experience accountant with strong accounting fundamentals.
• Experience in large and complex environments with robust financial controls.
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

• Ensure integrity of ledgers and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset register and oversee intercompany transactions.
• Oversee revenue recognition, cost management, and robust month-end close.

Meraki Talent is supporting with the appointment of an Interim Operational Accountant based in Edinburgh with hybrid working paying a highly competitive salary/daily rate.

The Opportunity

This sizable business has an exceptional reputation for excellence both domestically and internationally. They are currently going through a signifcant period of change, and need the support of a highly capable Operational Accountant for the next several months to see them through this pivotal period of change & transformation.

• Ensuring the intregrity of the ledgers
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintainence of fixed asset register
• Overseeing intercompany and transfer pricing transactions
• Overseeing revenue recognitiion and cost management
• Ensuring robust month-end close and Record to Report activity including journals, accruals, prepayments

What You'll Bring

• Qualified or qualified by experience Accountants
• Strong operational finance experience - ideally within large & complex enviromnents
• Strong ERP exposure and proficient user of Excel
