Job summary

A consultancy firm is seeking an Interim Ofsted Registered Manager to join their team on a freelance basis. This role involves deploying across various children's services to provide leadership during transitions and ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations. The ideal candidate has previous experience in similar roles, with strong knowledge of relevant standards. Flexibility for travel is required. Qualifications

• Have previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager.
• Successfully supported Good/Outstanding inspections or service turnarounds.
• Knowledge of children’s homes regulations & Quality Standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide interim leadership during instability or improvement.
• Lead services through Ofsted registration and inspection readiness.
• Stabilize teams and improve staff performance.
• Drive compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards.
• Support with action plans following inspections.

Skills

Experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager

Strong knowledge of children’s homes regulations
