Job summary

Benjamin Edwards is recruiting an Interim Management Accountant for a growing organisation in Scunthorpe. The role is a hybrid, fixed-term contract for 3 months with a salary of £40,000.

You will work alongside the Commercial Accountant to produce accurate monthly management accounts, journals, reconciliations and performance analysis across multiple entities, supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles.

Qualifications

• Experience producing monthly management accounts.
• Confident preparing journals, accruals and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to explain numbers to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Produce full monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash movements).
• Post month-end journals including accruals, prepayments, payroll, stock and WIP.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Support month-end reforecasts and annual budgeting.
• Assist with year-end reporting and external audits.
