Job Description

  • Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for the Trust
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes to support organisational planning.
  • Monitor financial compliance and ensure all statutory requirements are met.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure financial stability.
  • Work closely with department heads to ensure budget adherence and cost control.
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors as required.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Finance Manager/Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA )or Qualified by experience in a Multi-academy Trust)
  • Proven experience in management accounting or financial manager roles
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Office based, some hybrid working available.
  • Office is in Berkshire triangle Reading/ Slough/ Maidenhead
