Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd in Gloucestershire is seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant for a fast-paced FMCG finance team on a three‑month fixed-term contract. You will deliver timely management accounts and insightful analysis to support operational decisions.

Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA and strong Excel with stock accounting knowledge are essential. Pro rata salary £55,000 per annum, with 4 days in office.

Qualifications

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
Experience producing a full set of management accounts independently.
Strong stock accounting and balance sheet reconciliations knowledge.
Advanced Excel; BI reporting tools such as Power BI advantageous.
Commercially minded and able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, accruals and reconciliations.
Produce weekly flash P&L reports with commentary on performance.
Analyse variances against budget and forecast with operational managers.
Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, stock, fixed assets and lease accounting.
Manage intercompany and inter-depot reconciliations; rebate accounting.
Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
Provide analysis for management and board reporting.
Assist payroll reconciliations and ad-hoc projects.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and systems.
