Job summary

SF Partners are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join the Group Finance function. This interim role sits in the parent company, reporting to the Group Financial Controller, with scope to become permanent.

The role is hands-on with no team management, focused on delivering timely financial information, supporting month-end, and maintaining robust controls. Prior audit exposure and accuracy with stock accounting are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting and month-end reporting.
• Strong data analysis and commentary capabilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and support Group deadlines.
• Manage month-end processes, accruals and prepayments.
• Handle stock accounting, stock counts, adjustments and reconciliations.
• Manage and reconcile GRNI and fixed asset register.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support forecasts, budgets and other Group reporting needs.
• Provide clear commentary on financial performance as required.
• Work with operations and finance to resolve issues and assist year-end with auditors.
