Our client are actively seeking a part time (4 days per week), Interim Senior Management Accountant for a short term assignment to support the Financial Controller during changes in the business. Working on a hybrid basis eventually, you will initially be required to work on site near St Neots. Cambridgeshire for a 4 month period.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Management Accounts - prepare and check data ready to input into the group reporting system
• Review of actual results against budget, including variance analysis and commentary
• Business Oversight - assisting with budgeting and reforecasting
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Compliance of statutory returns, such as HMRC, VAT, PAYE, CIS, etc..
• Overseeing and supporting the accounts payable team
• Adhoc duties to support the team

• Qualified Accountant (QBE or Formally Qualified - ACCA/CIMA)
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Able to work with minimal supervision and use own initiative
• Flexible attitude to support the team
• Must be able to commute to St Neots, initially for 4 days per week

Interviews for this role will be taking place this week, with the successful candidate potentially starting w/c 5th or 12th of May

This is the possibility of the contract being extended beyond the initial 4 month period.
