Job summary

Altum Consulting is recruiting an Interim M&A Manager in Central London to lead and coordinate integration projects for a global technology business. The role is hybrid (3 days in office) and initially 6 months, outside IR35.

You will manage multiple workstreams, governance and senior stakeholder engagement across Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and Operations, ensuring delivery against tight timelines and clear accountability.

Qualifications

• Strong project management experience, ideally gained within a complex Technology, Professional Services or corporate environment.
• Experience managing complex project deliverables across M&A activity (pre/post).
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior leadership.
• Experience working across multiple functions, teams and international locations.
• The ability to quickly understand complex business requirements and translate these into clear actions and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate M&A integration projects from planning through to delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed integration plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate multiple functional workstreams, ensuring dependencies, risks and actions are clearly identified and managed.
• Own project governance.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Operations and other corporate functions.
• Ensure project deliverables are clearly defined, assigned and delivered against agreed timelines.
• Manage project meetings, ensuring actions are captured, followed up and completed.
• Identify potential risks, issues and dependencies and drive appropriate resolution.
• Provide clear and concise updates to senior leadership on progress, key risks and areas requiring decisions.
• Support the integration of acquired businesses into existing systems, processes and operating models.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the acquired business and the wider organisation.
• Maintain a strong focus on delivery, accountability and execution throughout the integration lifecycle.

Altum Consulting are recruiting for an M&A Manager to join a global Technology business based in central London. This role is for an initial 6-month period and the contract is outside of IR35.

This role will support the successful integration of newly acquired businesses into the wider organisation. You will be responsible for coordinating multiple workstreams, managing stakeholders and ensuring key deliverables remain on track throughout the integration process.

The successful candidate will bring strong project management experience alongside a proven track record of working on M&A integrations. You will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and working with senior stakeholders across different functions and geographies.
