Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to step into an Interim Phase Leader role at a Church of England primary school in London from September 2026. You will lead teaching and learning across an assigned phase while delivering your own class, ensuring strong pupil outcomes and progress.

The role focuses on improving teaching quality, monitoring with learning walks and observations, and supporting staff development within a collaborative Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• QTS required and eligible to work in the UK.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching as a qualified Primary Teacher.
• Experience leading a curriculum area desirable.
• Experience teaching across two primary phases desirable.
• Strong understanding of assessment, pupil progress and attainment.

Responsibilities

• Lead teaching and learning across an assigned primary phase.
• Monitor teaching through observations, learning walks and book scrutiny.
• Track pupil progress and be accountable for outcomes across the phase.
• Lead phase meetings and contribute to Senior Leadership Team meetings.
• Support and develop teachers through CPD and 1:1 development.
• Set challenging targets and monitor progress against KPIs.
• Lead on the Literacy curriculum and monitor pupil outcomes.
• Collaborate with SENDCo and Inclusion Manager to promote progress.
