Job summary

Reed is seeking an Interim HR Advisor for a Bicester-based, on-site role with five days a week commitment. The post focuses on employee relations, policy development, manager coaching, recruitment support, and project work during a period of digital transformation.

You will support a major HR system implementation, help improve HR processes and data quality, and contribute to broader HR projects within a busy team. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent.
• Significant HR advisory experience in a generalist environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and employment legislation.
• Experience developing and updating HR policies.
• Comfortable with HR systems, data and process improvement.
• Proactive and adaptable; able to work on both operational and project HR activities.
• Able to start immediately or on short notice.
• Able to work on site in Bicester five days per week.

Interim HR Advisor

Bicester Ongoing Interim Contract

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy HR team during an exciting period of organisational and digital transformation.

This is a hands-on generalist HR role offering a mix of employee relations, policy development, manager coaching, recruitment support, and project work. You'll play a key role in supporting the business through the implementation of a new HR system and improving HR processes and data quality across the organisation.

This role is based on-site in Bicester, 5 days per week, and requires someone who is available to start immediately or at short notice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical HR advice and guidance to managers on a range of people matters.
• Manage and support employee relations casework.
• Review, update and simplify HR policies and procedures to improve accessibility and usability.
• Support a major HR system implementation and wider digital transformation project.
• Help improve HR data accuracy and reporting capabilities.
• Assist with recruitment activity and provide generalist HR support across various business areas.
• Contribute to reward-related initiatives and other HR projects as required.

About You

• Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience).
• Significant HR Advisory experience within a generalist HR environment.
• Strong working knowledge of employee relations and employment legislation.
• Experience developing and updating HR policies.
• Comfortable working with HR systems, data, and process improvement initiatives.
• Proactive, adaptable and happy to get involved in both operational and project-based HR activities.
• Available immediately or at short notice.
• Able to work on site in Bicester five days per week.
