Job summary

Adecco is representing a major financial institution seeking an Interim Head of Procurement in London. The role is based in a hybrid setup (office 3 days, home 2), on a 6‑month contract with potential extension.

You will lead the EMEA procurement function, directing category management and supplier governance to deliver strategic sourcing and value across the region. You will partner with senior stakeholders and drive Source-to-Pay processes, focusing on complex technology buys, risk management,

Qualifications

• Significant procurement leadership within banking/financial services, ideally with EMEA responsibility.
• Proven track record in category management, strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
• Strong understanding of governance, third-party risk, resilience, outsourcing and S2P processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EMEA Procurement function and a team of six Category Managers across spend areas.
• Drive category management, strategic sourcing and supplier management for commercial value and cost optimisation.
• Oversee supplier relationships, governance, third-party risk and outsourcing for regional needs.
• Partner with Procurement Operations to ensure effective Source-to-Pay processes and systems governance.
• Provide leadership on complex technology procurement including software and cloud services.
• Advise executives and represent Procurement at governance and steering forums.
