Role Overview

An Higher Education organization is seeking an Interim Head of HR Transformation & Change for an initial 12-month period. The role involves leading a newly created team and HR change initiatives. It is based in London with hybrid working arrangements.

Description
  • Lead change activities including HR transformation (redundancies, restructures, redeployment, target operating model, team structures, TUPE), harmonization, and overall improvements aligned with ER policies.
  • Support managers with change proposals.
  • Lead a portfolio of change initiatives including TUPE.
  • Manage a newly created team.
  • Identify opportunities for HR change and process improvements across the organization.
  • Monitor and evaluate organizational changes, reviewing effectiveness and mitigating risks.
  • Present analysis and recommendations using data.
  • Develop and implement HR change management strategies aligned with overall organizational transformation.
  • Oversee consultation processes and develop consultation plans.
  • Review current HR structures.
  • Support managers in coaching their teams through change.
  • Lead consultations with trade unions.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to ensure appropriate training is designed and delivered.
Candidate Profile
  • Experience in higher education or the public sector is essential.
  • Proven track record leading change programs.
  • Experience managing teams linearly.
