Interim Head of Finance Transformation and Change

Join to apply for the Interim Head of Finance Transformation and Change role at AXA Partners.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Interim Head of Finance Transformation and Change to join our finance leadership team. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract where you will lead finance transformation initiatives, report to the CFO for UK&I, and work collaboratively across functions to implement innovative solutions that enhance our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Change Management: Oversee all finance change projects from inception to delivery, ensuring effective implementation and adoption.
  2. Drive Efficiency: Identify and lead automation projects to streamline finance processes and improve operational efficiency.
  3. Collaborate Across Teams: Work with stakeholders at the Group and UK levels on finance projects including reporting, P2P, O2C, and bank automation.
  4. Review and Improve Processes: Assess current finance processes and implement changes aligned with the target operating model.
  5. Resolve Project Issues: Facilitate resolution of issues across stakeholder groups for smooth project delivery.
  6. Foster Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of innovation and ongoing improvement within the finance team.
  7. Develop the Team: Manage, mentor, and support a small finance change team, fostering growth and capabilities.
  8. Promote Collaboration: Contribute to a positive, high-performance finance leadership culture.
Candidate Profile
  • Qualified accountant with substantial finance and change management experience, preferably in financial services or insurance.
  • Proven experience in leading finance transformation projects from business case to implementation.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience managing teams and fostering collaboration.
  • Proven track record in finance systems implementation and process improvement.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and proactive in driving change.
