Job Description

• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Develop business case models.
• Oversee costings.
• Lead the statutory audit process.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, focusing on trial balance and P&L.
• Guide and support the assistant management accountant in preparing and analyzing management information.
• Supervise working capital management and produce cash flow forecasts.
• Participate proactively in planning sessions, forecasts, and annual budgeting.
• Manage a team of 12 staff, including conducting performance reviews.
• Support the line manager in maintaining high standards of accounting and financial controls.
• Lead ad-hoc projects aimed at improving efficiency and productivity.

The Successful Applicant

• Fully qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification, with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good experience in financial modeling.
• Robust technical accounting knowledge; experience in manufacturing sector is advantageous.
