Vitae Financial Recruitment Ltd. is partnering with a well‑established multi‑site business to recruit an Interim Group Reporting Accountant in Aylesbury.

The role is hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days at home) and focuses on statutory accounts and audit management for the group. You will lead statutory accounts preparation, coordinate the year‑end audit with external auditors, and support month‑end close, intercompany accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Experience in producing statutory accounts.
• Proven track record in managing year‑end audits.
• Background in a multi‑site/group finance environment.
• Able to meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Lead the preparation of statutory accounts with accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate the year‑end audit with external auditors and respond to queries.
• Prepare supporting audit schedules and relevant financial documentation.
• Support group financial reporting, including month‑end journals, reconciliations and intercompany accounting.
• Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure deadlines and processes run smoothly.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and strengthen controls.
