Job summary

Une organisation du secteur public en pleine croissance recrute un interim Group Accountant pour un contrat de trois mois. Ce rôle hybride nécessitera une présence au bureau deux jours par semaine et impliquera des interactions étroites avec les entités et les auditeurs pour s'assurer que les rapports financiers sont conformes.

Qualifications

Robertson Bell are supporting a rapidly growing public sector organisation to recruit an interim Group Accountant on an initial three-month contract.

Our client has grown rapidly over the last 12 months, acquiring a number of smaller companies while continuing to grow their own operations. As such, this will be the organisations first year producing group accounts.

The interim Group Accountant will be responsible for;

• Preparing the first set of group accounts, working closely with each entity to acquire and consolidate information.
• Submitting the accounts and working closely with auditors to provide supporting information when needed and answering queries.
• Ensuring important financial reporting standards such as IFRS16 and FRS are adhered to.
• Identifying and resolving any issues that arise from the accounts production process, likely to be related to the balance sheet or VAT.

This role is hybrid, based in West London, and will require office attendance two days per week.

The interim Group Accountant will need;

• Recent experience producing group accounts, ideally within a public sector organisation.
• A UK recognised accountancy qualification.
• Up to date knowledge of relevant UK accounting standards.
