Michael Page is recruiting an Interim Grant Finance Assistant in London to manage the financial administration of funded projects across the full lifecycle. You will maintain accuracy in project records, post journals, and support grant funding claims within a collaborative Not‑for‑Profit finance team.

The role requires at least two years in post‑award grant finance or similar, with experience in Not‑For‑Profit entities and strong project accounting knowledge.

Formación

• At least two years' experience in post-award grant finance or a similar grant finance environment.
• Experience in Not For Profit and Charities.
• Experience with integrated finance systems (Agresso/Unit4 desirable).
• Strong understanding of project accounting and grant management.
• Experience producing financial reports and reconciliations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the financial administration of funded projects from set-up through to closure.
• Maintain project information within the finance system and ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare and post journals, adjustments, and overhead allocations where required.
• Reconcile project accounts and investigate variances or discrepancies.
• Raise invoices and support funding claims in line with grant requirements.
• Prepare financial reports for funders and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project expenditure against budgets and forecast future activity.
• Provide advice and guidance on project finances and funding regulations.
• Support process improvements, system developments, and ad hoc finance projects.
• Work collaboratively across teams to resolve complex financial queries and issues.
