Michael Page is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead financial management and reporting for a charity/not-for-profit. The role covers governance, budgeting and stakeholder reporting to Trustees. You will oversee banking, VAT, payroll, and grant funding, ensuring compliance and timely statutory accounts.

Formación

• Experience in financial management and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence in presenting financial information to stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounts, monitoring performance against budgets.
• Oversee banking arrangements, insurance, payroll processes and service agreements.
• Manage VAT records and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
• Prepare clear, timely financial reports for senior management and the Trustee Board.
• Provide financial information and analysis to support funding applications, contracts and service delivery.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and financial statements with auditors.
• Take responsibility for returns to funders and regulators.
• Identify opportunities to claim Gift Aid and submit Gift Aid returns.
