Membership Bespoke is supporting a respected professional membership organisation with national and international reach. The interim governance role involves hands-on support in a member-led environment, coordinating governance committees, agendas and papers, and ensuring accurate, timely minuting.

This six-month assignment in the Leicester area offers hybrid working with two days in the office per week. The candidate will also support assurance, compliance and risk oversight, build strong

Qualifications

• Experience within a membership body or complex charity environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly around committee coordination and minuting.
• Hands-on, fast-moving governance function experience desired.
• Ability to step into an interim role and establish credibility quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on governance support within a complex, member-led environment.
• Coordinate governance committees, including agendas, papers, logistics and accurate, timely minuting.
• Support assurance, compliance and risk oversight activities.
• Build effective working relationships across the organisation and with committee members.
• This interim assignment is expected to run for a minimum of four to six months, with potential extension.
• Hybrid working, with two days per week in the office.
